Eat Right for Your
Specific Biochemistry

Most dietary advice is written for the average person. Your Metabolic Nature — determined by how your body produces and uses energy, processes macronutrients, responds to stress, and tolerates different food groups — means there is no average that applies to you. This programme identifies your type, builds your personalised foods list, menu plan and recipe library, and supports your implementation with ongoing access to the DH Clinical Concierge.

Not everyone thrives on the same diet

The six Metabolic Natures are derived from functional test cross-referencing — not questionnaires alone. Each type has distinct patterns of macronutrient tolerance, oxidative rate, autonomic balance, hormonal tendency, and dietary response. A high-fat diet that drives energy and clarity in a Kinetic type produces fatigue and weight gain in a Grounded type. A high-carbohydrate approach that destabilises a Catalyst produces exactly the metabolic stability an Endurance type needs. The type is not a label — it is a clinical map.

Kinetic
Fast oxidiser · High protein-fat · Stress-driven
Grounded
Slow oxidiser · Carbohydrate-tolerant · Steady
Catalyst
Mixed oxidiser · Reactive · Blood sugar sensitive
Endurance
Parasympathetic · Carbohydrate-moderate · Resilient
Adaptive
Variable · Context-dependent · Flexible
Calibrated
Balanced · Precision-dependent · Stable

What used to take 12 sessions — restructured

In traditional nutritional therapy, ongoing dietary support meant a series of weekly or fortnightly sessions at £60–95 each — £360–1,140 over a programme — because the contact time was the only way to handle the ongoing questions, menu adaptations, and accountability that make dietary change stick. Every "what do I do with this ingredient?" and "I'm travelling next week — what do I eat?" required a session.

The DH Clinical Concierge changes that entirely. The ongoing questions that used to require session time are now handled between sessions through the concierge — which knows your Metabolic Nature type, your allowable foods, your dietary framework, and your goals. The formal sessions focus on what only a practitioner can do: the clinical assessment, the protocol decision, and the review of what's working.

Between-session support that used to cost a session

The most common reason dietary change fails is not lack of information — it is lack of support at the moment when the question arises. You're in a supermarket and unsure whether something is on your list. You're travelling and need a fast option that works for your type. You want to adapt a recipe. You've been on the plan for three weeks and your energy is different on certain days and you want to know why.

The DH Client Concierge is available to answer all of these in real time — configured with your Metabolic Nature type, your allowable foods, your dietary framework, and your goals. It is not a generic nutrition chatbot. It is a clinically-guided tool built with your specific picture in mind.

What the concierge handles between sessions
Menu modifications — "I don't like fish, what replaces the salmon in this meal?"
Travel adaptations — "I'm in an airport for four hours, what should I eat for my type?"
Quick meal ideas — "I have 15 minutes and eggs, spinach and avocado — what fits my type?"
Smoothie and soup variants — quick, practical options when you need something fast
Label reading — "Is this ingredient on my allowable list?"
Understanding your type — "Why does my energy drop in the afternoon and what does that tell me about my type?"
Progress questions — "I've been on the plan for three weeks, my sleep is better but my energy is still variable — what might explain that?"

From intake to ongoing support

1
Discovery call (optional — 20 minutes, free)
If you're not sure whether the programme is right for you, or whether you should be doing this before or after functional testing, a short discovery call clarifies the right sequence. If you're ready to proceed, skip straight to step 2.
2
Metabolic Nature intake form
Once confirmed, you receive the Metabolic Nature intake form. This covers your energy patterns, macronutrient responses, stress physiology, sleep quality, digestive tendencies, and food preferences — the functional picture that determines your type. Takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
3
Type identification and plan preparation
Stephen reviews your intake form and identifies your Metabolic Nature type. Your personalised foods list, menu plan, and recipe library are then built specific to your type, your food preferences, and your lifestyle — including quick options, travel-friendly meals, soups and smoothies, and any exclusions or preferences you've noted.
4
Initial consultation — 60 minutes
Your type, the reasoning behind it, your foods list, and your menu plan are explained in detail. You receive the Metabolic Natures book and access to the DH Client Concierge. Questions answered. Implementation begins.
5
Concierge support — ongoing
Between the initial consultation and your follow-up, the DH Client Concierge is available for menu modifications, recipe ideas, travel adaptations, ingredient questions, and anything that arises in day-to-day implementation. This is the support layer that makes the difference between knowing what to eat and actually eating that way.
6
Follow-up review — 30 minutes at 4–6 weeks
A formal review of what's working, what isn't, and what needs adjusting. Any questions the concierge has flagged for clinical input. Plan refinements. Assessment of whether functional testing would add value at this point — and if so, which tests and in what sequence.

Metabolic Natures — Test, Don't Guess Volume 4

607 pages covering the six Metabolic Nature types in clinical depth — the two-axes framework, the difference between genetic and functional type, blocking factors that prevent type expression, and the dietary, supplement, exercise, and stress management protocols for each type. The most comprehensive metabolic typing framework available that integrates functional test findings rather than relying on questionnaire alone.

Included in the programme as digital edition. Physical copy available by arrangement.

Standalone or as part of a bigger programme

The Metabolic Natures Programme works as a standalone service for people who want to improve their diet without committing to full functional testing yet. It is also included as an add-on within the TDG Five-Test Programme and the Three-Test Gut and Cellular Health Package — where functional test results refine the type identification beyond the intake form alone and produce an even more precisely personalised dietary framework.

If you complete the Metabolic Natures Programme and subsequently proceed to functional testing, the type identified through the programme provides the clinical context in which test results are interpreted — and the dietary framework built in the programme is refined rather than replaced by what the tests reveal.
