Capabilities
What the concierge can do for you
The DH Clinical Concierge has been built on Stephen's specific clinical knowledge — not generic health information. It understands the functional testing framework, the clinical reasoning behind it, and how to apply that reasoning to the symptoms you're describing.
🔍
Symptom exploration
Describe what you're experiencing and get a clinical perspective on what might be driving it — the mechanisms, the interconnections, and what a proper investigation would look at.
🧪
Test guidance
Understand which functional tests are relevant to your presentation, what they measure, and what clinical picture they build together.
💊
Supplement audit
Ask about a specific supplement — paste the ingredients list or describe it — and get an honest clinical assessment of dose adequacy, ingredient forms, and whether it's the right tool for you.
🥗
Food framework support
If you know your Metabolic Nature type or are following a specific dietary protocol, get meal ideas, recipe variations, and travel strategies that stay within your clinical framework.
📊
Results context
Have blood test results or functional test findings? Describe them and get clinical context — what the markers mean, what patterns to look for, and what warrants further investigation.
🗺️
Direction finding
Not sure where to start? The concierge will help you identify the most relevant entry point — whether that's a specific test, a programme, a guide, or a discovery call with Stephen.
Examples
Questions worth asking
The more specific you are, the more useful the response. Here are examples of the kinds of questions the concierge handles well.
Clinical questions that work well
Q
"I've been exhausted for two years. My GP says my bloods are normal but I still feel terrible. TSH was 2.8. Where would you start looking?"
Q
"I'm a Kinetic Metabolic Nature and I've been on the food plan for four weeks. I'm getting bored of the same meals — can you give me five different dinner ideas that stay within my framework?"
Q
"I've got a magnesium supplement that contains magnesium oxide at 150mg. Is this worth taking or should I be looking at something else?"
Q
"My GI-MAP came back with elevated H. pylori and low Faecalibacterium prausnitzii. What does that combination tell you clinically?"
Q
"I'm perimenopausal, 46, gaining weight around my middle despite eating well. My cortisol feels high. What would the investigation look like?"
Q
"I'm travelling to Italy next week and want to stay broadly within my elimination protocol. What should I look for on menus and what's safe to eat freely?"
Getting the best response
Four things that improve every conversation
01
Be specific about symptoms
Not just "I'm tired" but when the fatigue is worst, what makes it better or worse, how long it's been present, and what else is happening alongside it. Context is everything clinically.
02
Share what you've already tried
What tests have been done, what supplements or interventions you've tried, and what happened. The response to previous interventions is clinically informative.
03
Name your framework if you have one
If you know your Metabolic Nature type, have done functional tests, or are following a specific dietary protocol, say so upfront. The concierge will work within your existing framework rather than starting from scratch.
04
Paste supplement labels directly
For supplement audits, type out or paste the ingredient list including doses and forms. The more complete the information, the more specific and useful the assessment will be.
Privacy & Data
What happens to your conversation
Your privacy matters. Here's exactly what the public concierge does and doesn't do with your information.
What we do
Your messages are sent via encrypted connection to Anthropic's API to generate responses
Anthropic do not use API conversations to train their AI models under standard terms
All data is transmitted over HTTPS — encrypted end to end
The concierge is hosted via Cloudflare Workers — no data is logged at that layer
What we don't do
Nothing is stored when you close the browser — each session starts completely fresh
No account, no login, no data attached to your identity
No conversation history is retained between sessions
No data is shared with third parties or used for advertising
Treat this like a clinical conversation rather than a medical record. Use your first name if you refer to yourself. There's no need to include your full name, date of birth, and detailed medical history together in the same conversation.
For full details see our Concierge Privacy & Data Practices page.
Honest Limits
What the concierge doesn't do
Limitations to understand
It doesn't diagnose — it explains patterns, mechanisms, and what investigation would clarify
It doesn't replace a clinical session with Stephen — it prepares you for one and supports between them
It doesn't have access to your previous conversations or test results unless you share them in the conversation
It doesn't prescribe pharmaceutical medications or recommend specific drug doses
It doesn't replace urgent medical care — if you're experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services
What it does do is take your symptoms seriously, explain the clinical reasoning behind what you're experiencing, and help you understand what a proper investigation would look like. That's genuinely useful — and it's more than most people get from a ten-minute GP appointment.
